Deputies: Teen Takes Uncle's Car For Joy Ride, Gets Arrested
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Two people are in custody after a joyride sparked a pursuit and ended in a crash in south Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, a teen took his uncle's car and picked up a friend Wednesday night.
The two then went on a joyride but caught the attention of deputies when they reportedly blew through a stop sign.
A pursuit started and continued until the teen got out of the car while it was still moving. The other suspect in the car then took the wheel but crashed into a van, ending the pursuit.
There is no word on whether the two suspects will face any charges.
