Dawson Fire in Stanislaus County burns 200 acres
Cal Fire crews responded to a vegetation fire that burned 200 acres as of Sunday afternoon in Stanislaus and
Named the Dawson Fire, crews first responded to the area near Old La Grange Road and La Grange Road around 12:15 p.m.
Just before 2 p.m., Cal Fire said the fire's forward progress was stopped and that it had burned 200 acres.
Containment was at 20%, according to the Cal Fire incident page, and La Grange Road remained closed.
