The Delta King is an authentic 285 foot riverboat originally built in Glasgow, Scotland, and Stockton, California. It was officially christened on May 20, 1927. A month later, it started offering boat service between San Francisco and Sacramento. This old steamboat has been a huge part of Sacramento's history, and has been revitalized over the last three decades offering great visitors a piece of floating history. Today, the Delta King features a restaurant and hotel, and hosts a number of special events throughout the year. The sister ship to the Delta King is the Delta Queen, which is still in operation in Louisiana. On Easter Sunday, the Delta King will host a Sunday Champagne Brunch starting at 9 am.
