SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- For the 19th consecutive season, 1140 The Fan will serve as the radio home of the Sacramento Kings, whose abbreviated 2011-12 schedule was released Tuesday.

First up for the Kings will be the Los Angeles Lakers the day after Christmas at Power Balance Pavilion. Teams will play 66 regular-season games, down from the normal 82, after the NBA lockout wiped out nearly the first two months of the season.

Kings Complete 2011-12 Schedule

The Kings organization announced Tuesday that it had reached a long-term agreement with KHTK The Fan, extending their broadcast partnership. 1140 The Fan will broadcast all preseason, postseason and regular-season games beginning with the 2011-12 season.

"The Kings have been an integral part of our programming on KHTK for nearly two decades," says Steve Cottingim, senior vice president and market manager for CBS RADIO Sacramento. "The fans and KHTK are united in our passion for Sacramento's team. We admire the relationship we have with the Kings and are looking forward to continuing our association in the years ahead."

Gary "G-Man" Gerould will return as the Kings' play-by-play announcer for his 26th season.

Current Kings Director of Player Development Lafayette "Fat" Lever will rejoin the radio team for his third season as color analyst, while veteran broadcaster Jason Ross enters his 11th season as host of the pregame, halftime and postgame shows in addition to serving as the backup play-by-play commentator.

Former Sacramento Kings player Henry Turner will join Ross for a seventh season as a basketball analyst during the pregame and postgame shows.
