FRANKLIN (KDKA) -- A Venango County woman is facing several charges after police say hundreds of dollars in scratch-off lottery tickets were stolen from the grocery store where she worked.
Franklin police say 43-year-old Leslie Guthrie, of Reno, Pa., is facing charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
According to police, in excess of $3,500 worth of tickets were taken from the safe at the Shop 'N Save grocery store on Buffalo Street in Franklin beginning in Dec. 2011.
Investigators say Guthrie is accused of scratching them off and taking the winning tickets to other stores in Franklin and Sugar Creek Borough and cashing them in.
The winning tickets were worth more than $1,950.
Guthrie was arraigned and is now being held in the Venango County Prison after failing to post $15,000 bond.
