Water Main Break Causes Problems On Mt. Washington

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A water main break caused problems today on Mount Washington.

Water service was out this morning to residents on Plymouth Street over to the site of the break on Hazel Way.

There is no word yet on what caused the break or when water service will be restored.

Meanwhile, police say a large amount of water came running down the steps over at Pittsburgh Allderdice High School onto Shady Avenue this morning.

So far, officials say they haven't determined whether the water came from inside the school or from school grounds.

The fire department was called to the scene.
