Uniontown Buried By Feet Of Water After Flash Flooding
UNIONTOWN (KDKA) -- Central Uniontown was hit hardest by Thursday's flash flooding.
Mike Gribble was one of many people dealing with damaged vehicles on Friday morning.
"The engine was submerged, you can see the debris. The the inside was mud," he said.
Pictures at sunrise showed just how deep the water was on Church Street, vehicles floating in up to five feet of water.
The United States Postal Service was dealing with the same thing: 27 delivery vehicles out of commission after being underwater. The post office and library flooded.

Everything inside Steve Newbauer's business was soaked and non-salvageable.
"It did not survive. I got a crew of guys here, we're waiting for a dumpster to clean it up," he said.
The power of the water was evident in many ways. The steel garage doors one building were bowed and blown out. Redstone Creek was responsible for much of the mess.
"I've been here since 1982, we survived the Election Day Flood, in the 34 years being here I've never seen that much water here," Newbauer said.
Clean-up is fully underway. Squeegies and power washers are working hard, trying to wash away tons of grime.
