PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after two teens were shot in East Pittsburgh.
The gunfire was first reported around 9 p.m. Tuesday on Franklin Street.
KDKA's Amy Wadas Reports:
A 14-year-old was shot in the arm and chest, and a 16-year-old was shot in the leg, state police say.
The names and conditions of the teens have not been released, but their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Investigators were on scene much of the night gathering evidence.
The crime scene was cordoned off with police tape and at least 17 evidence markers were spotted on the ground.
This is the second time in less than a week that police are investigating a shooting in East Pittsburgh. Over the weekend, a drive-by shooting sent bullets flying into the family's home, narrowly missing them.
