Sotheby's Cashing In On "Star Wars" Mania
Sotheby's is cashing in on the "Star Wars" mania ahead of next week's movie release.
It auctioned off dozens of pieces of "Star Wars: memorabilia, including a rare Luke Skywalker action figure, which sold for $25,000.
Hundreds of other vintage figures, many in their original packaging, were also sold for thousands of dollars apiece.
Replica Storm Trooper masks, lightsabers and other rare items were also sold.
It all came from the private collection of Japanese fashion designer NIGO.
