BELLEFONTE (KDKA) -- Jerry Sandusky's attorney, Joe Amendola, has been summoned by the judge hearing the case.
At issue appears to be comments made by Amendola to reporters in the courthouse in a sort of impromptu news conference.
There's talk Amendola could be facing sanctions.
The comments were made in the main courtroom.
Amendola reportedly told reporters he would be shocked and would probably die of a heart attack if his client were acquitted of all charges in this case.
He went on to say, "I did the best I could with the circumstances and Jerry Sandusky was very, very happy with the job we have done."
Amendola said his client is praying a lot and spending a lot of time with his family because this may be the last time he has to spend with them.
The gag order remains in place in this case, but it's not clear if he violated that order.
Amendola was taken out of the courtroom by a sheriff's deputy who told him the judge wanted to see him.
