Republican VP Candidate Mike Pence Makes Moon Twp. Campaign Stop

MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- The crowd went wild inside the hangar at Atlantic Aviation in Moon Township as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's running mate, Gov. Mike Pence, and his wife got off their plane Thursday.

Pence talked about bringing back the coal industry, lowering taxes for working families, and repealing Obamacare. He also touched on foreign policy.

"We can't have four more years of apologizing to our enemies and abandoning our friends," Pence said.

He made his case for why Hillary Clinton should not be in office.

"Truth is, I think the American people have had enough. They've especially had enough of the fast and loose ethics of the Clintons over the last 30 years," Pence said. "Here in America, no one is above the law."

Supporters say this is our time.

"You are only going to see this one time in our life to make America great again. We gotta get our country back to work," Glen Gitzen, of Prospect, said.

"I already voted. We already had early voting in our state and I'm already a Trumpster. I want to keep everybody on the Trump train. Let's keep Trump going," Jamie Dixon, of Wellsburg, West Virginia, said.

The Trump campaign isn't the only campaign pushing their message locally as the election draws near.

Clinton returns to Pittsburgh on Friday.

Also, Vice President Joe Biden just announced he'll be in the Pittsburgh area Saturday, campaigning for Clinton.

However, Trump supporters say they're determined to turn Pennsylvania red.

"Number one, vote and bring a friend. Friends don't let friends vote alone," Pence said.

Clinton will be speaking at The Great Hall at Heinz Field Friday at 12:45 p.m. Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. Joe Biden hasn't announced yet where he will be on Saturday.
