Report: Pa. Teacher Caught Having Sex With Student In Cemetery Sentenced
PALMER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A substitute teacher in Northampton County has been sentenced after being caught having sex with a student in a cemetery.
According to the Morning Call, 50-year-old Kelly Aldinger will serve three to 23 months in jail.
Aldinger reportedly told police that she met the 17-year-old student several years ago when she was teaching in the Easton Area Middle School. The student and Aldinger indicated they had been in a sexual relationship since he was 16.

A defense attorney argued that Aldinger was struggling with medical issues and a difficult marriage. She reportedly fought back tears in court.
"I'm not proud of myself. I have relationships that will never be repaired," she said. "I have to live with what I did for the rest of my life."
Aldinger will be on probation for two years once she completes her jail time, and she must perform 42 hours of community service.
