Report: Pa. Pediatrician Accused Of Having Child Porn Images On His Phone

PENNSBURG (KDKA) -- A Pennsylvania pediatrician is accused of having nude images of children on a cell phone used by the practice.

The Morning Call reports 48-year-old David S. Kennedy of Pennsburg admitted the photos of nude children engaged in sexual acts belong to him, according to Montgomery County Court records.

Police were contacted by a nurse practitioner who works with Kennedy on Nov. 28. She told officers she discovered child porn on a phone that belongs to the medical practice and is used to handle after-hour phone calls.

The images were discovered on a web browser labeled "David's iCloud" along with websites that linked to child porn.

It is not clear if any of the images are connected to Kennedy's pediatrics practice.

Police reported "Dr. David Kennedy admitted in this statement that he would view and save these images based upon a curiosity he had."

Kennedy is charged with sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a cellphone and is in prison under $250,000 bail.
