Report: Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict Potentially Suspended For Concussion-Causing Hit

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A hit on Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown by Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict gave Brown a concussion, ultimately set up the Steelers' game-winning field goal and now, it may lead to a suspension for Burfict, according to

NFL Insider for CBS and Jason La Canfora reports that Burfict will likely face a suspension for the concussion-causing hit on Brown that happened near the end of Saturday's wild card game.

A report from says that the possible suspension could be at least one game, especially considering that Burfict has already faced fines for plays against the Steelers earlier this season.

Calling into the Dan Patrick show today, Adam "Pacman" Jones talked about the Burfict hit on Brown.

"Antonio Brown was not hurt. I know he was faking it. I think he needs a Grammy award for that one," Jones told Patrick.

Burfict was previously fined for a hit on Ben Roethlisberger in December.
