PWSA Agrees To Cover Costs Of New Football Equipment Damaged During Repair Work

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority has agreed to pay $7,000 to replace sports equipment damaged by faulty pipes.
Dozens of football helmets and pads used for youth football in Hazelwood were damaged when PWSA crews were working at the spray park building at Burgwin Park, flooding the facility.
