Port Authority Exploring Idea Of Creating 'Aerial Tram' Connecting Strip District And Hill District

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - It's one of the flashiest ideas in Port Authority's multi-billion-dollar plan for the future of Pittsburgh transit.
They are exploring the idea of creating an "aerial tram" a gondola-style transit to connect the Strip District and the Hill District.
This isn't the first time the city has come up with the idea, having mentioned the idea as a way to connect the two neighborhoods before.
