State police investigating argument that ended in shots fired in Aliquippa

ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) - Two people were shot as the result of an argument in Aliquippa late on Saturday night.

According to information provided to KDKA by Pennsylvania State Police, just before 11:30, Aliquippa Police were called to the 1200 block of Main Street for a report of two people shot.

Once they arrived, they requested the help of state police.

An investigation determined that during an argument, 25-year-old Trevaughn McCoy pulled out a gun and shot 29-year-old Richard Lowe Jr.

After McCoy shot at Lowe, a third person, 29-year-old Davonte Williams, as well as a fourth person, pulled out guns and shot McCoy.

Both Lowe and McCoy were taken to an area hospital for treatment, their conditions are unknown.

Williams and McCoy are both facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, firearm violations, and reckless endangerment.

State police said charges are pending on a third suspect.
