1 Injured In Bedford Dwellings Shooting, Suspect Arrested

BEDFORD DWELLINGS (KDKA) – A suspect is in custody after a shooting in Pittsburgh's Bedford Dwellings neighborhood left one person injured early Monday morning.
According to police, officers observed the shooting along Chauncey Drive around 12:35 a.m. The suspect fled toward Bedford Avenue, where he was taken into custody.
The suspect has been identified as Lamont Pendleton, 40, of the Hill District.
Meanwhile, the victim was found lying on the ground near the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Somers Drive. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Pendleton is being held in the Allegheny County Jail. He is facing a list of charges including, criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
