MUNHALL, Pa. (KDKA) - An early Wednesday morning police chase sent one man to the hospital in handcuffs.
Police say Henry Williams, 33, of Mount Oliver, is likely to face several charges including avoiding a traffic stop and eluding police.
Homestead Police say the chase began in Homestead and ended in Munhall with a crash just before 3 a.m. between East 8th Avenue and Waterfront Drive.
A Homestead Police Officer tried to pull the suspect over for a broken headlight and the suspect initially stopped. However, the suspect fled the scene before the officer could approach the vehicle. The officer chased the suspect's vehicle for a half-mile before the suspect flipped his car several times and wound up on the railroad tracks.
Police said Williams had a parole warrant and that's possibly why he fled the scene.
No officers were injured during the short chase.
