PNC Bank Announces Agreement To Buy BBVA USA Bancshares

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- PNC Bank has announced an agreement to buy the U.S. operations of the Spanish bank BBVA.
The $11.6 billion deal creates the nation's fifth largest bank by asset size.
BBVA has more than 600 branches in 7 states form California to Florida.
