Pittsburgh Penguins Defenseman Zach Trotman Has Successful Knee Surgery

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Zach Trotman has had successful knee surgery.

The team says 30-year-old Trotman had surgery on his right knee Thursday to repair a torn meniscus. The surgery was performed at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre.

He's expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks while recovering.
