Pennsylvania Tax Amnesty Program Underway
Leaders in Harrisburg are cutting delinquent taxpayers a break.
The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue announced a Tax Amnesty program today.
They will waive all the penalties and half the interest for people and businesses who owe back taxes.
The state is trying to re-coup about $3.5 billion dollars that have not been paid.
Almost two-thirds of that money comes from businesses who have not paid up.
