PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There is now a big backup on I-79 South after a tractor-trailer rollover crash on Tuesday evening.
Traffic was down to just one lane near the Heidelberg exit.
That backup was compounded by the fact that after an earlier crash on the Parkway West, traffic was being detoured onto I-79.
Look at the I-79 SB back-ups due to that overturned tractor trailer. (See previous tweet). AVOID @KDKA pic.twitter.com/3iz4AUMTi7

Four vehicles were involved in a violent crash earlier on the Parkway West.
It happened on the inbound side of the road near the Carnegie exit.
The inbound lanes of the Parkway West were closed Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m. Traffic was being detoured onto the I-79 and the ramps from I-79 to eastbound I-376 are closed. That crash is now cleaned up and traffic is starting to clear.
One person was thrown through a windshield and died.
