PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is suffering from concussion-like symptoms and once again will be out of the line-up indefinitely.
KDKA AM's Larry Richert and John Shumway talk to Penguins CEO David Morehouse about Crosby's status.
"My reaction would be what you think it would be, disappointment, but we're confident that he'll get better," Morehouse said. "As it's always been, it's a process. I think there's a frustration just with the kind of injury. It's not a broken leg where you can look at an x-ray and say the break is healed. It's something that, every injury is different, every concussion is different, and you have to basically wait until all the symptoms are gone before you can actually feel like you're out of the woods."
Morehouse also discussed the special trip the players made to Children's Hospital on Monday afternoon to spread a little holiday cheer.
