McKeesport Community Rallies Against Having Police Officers In Schools

MCKEESPORT, Pa. (KDKA) -- The McKeesport community rallied Saturday to protest a decision by the area school district to have police officers in its schools.

Leaders from neighboring districts urged McKeesport to work on change where officers would no longer be needed in its buildings.

Organizers say that having officers in the district sends the wrong message and makes some students feel like they are in prison, not school.
