Man found safe after Greenfield fire
A missing occupant of a third floor apartment in a Greenfield building that caught on fire has been found. The man was found outside. He has been taken to the hospital and there is no word on his condition.
The early morning fire occurred at 1 Alexis Street in Greenfield. Residents of the building were awaken by neighbors and able to escape. No one was injured. Pittsburgh firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and protected a next door house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
