Latest Recalls Involve Video Baby Monitors
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There are two important recalls for parents of young children.
Two infant deaths have been linked to baby video monitors with electrical cords made by Summer Infant.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission also says a 20-month-old boy from Pittsburgh was found with the camera cord wrapped around his neck.
The boy was not injured.
The monitors are being recalled, and new warning labels will be added.
Also, rechargeable batteries sold with certain "Slim and Secure" Video Monitors are being recalled.
The batteries can overheat and rupture.
