Extended Hours for Special Elections Ballot Return

Extended hours, including weekend hours, are now available throughout this weekend through the Feb. 7 Special Elections.

Beginning Feb. 1, ballot return will be available at the Ross Street entrance of the building downtown, rather than voters having to go into the lobby of the County Office Building. Voters can return their ballot to Elections staff located directly inside of the doors on Ross Street.     

Hours include:

  • Wednesday, February 1: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 2: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday, February 3: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 4: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 5: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, February 6: 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 7 (Election Day): 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Canned Meat and Poultry Recall 

More than 2.5 million pounds of canned meat and poultry are under recall due to packaging defects that could cause them to be contaminated. They are sold under various names including Armour Star, Great Value, and Kroger.

Hot Chocolate Pod Recall 

Thousands of hot chocolate single-serve pods are under recall due to an undeclared peanut allergen from the supplier. Two Rivers Coffee issued the recall and you can see the full list on the FDA website. Click here

Fudge Mint Cookie Recall 

Another recall has been issued for undeclared peanuts. B&G Foods has recalled their Back to Nature Fudge Mint Cookies. 

The boxes have a best-by date of October 2, 2023.
