Man In Wheelchair Rescued After Fire Spreads To Multiple Houses In Homestead

HOMESTEAD (KDKA) -- A man in a wheelchair was rescued from a fire that spread to multiple houses in Homestead on Saturday night.
The report came in as a two-alarm fire at a two-story duplex on East 17th Avenue near McClure Street around 9:45 p.m.
The flames quickly spread to a brick home and two other nearby wood structures.
Three of the four homes were occupied. Everyone got out safely.
Witnesses say a man in a wheelchair was rescued from the brick home where the fire began and is reported to be doing OK.
Firefighters were still on the scene around 11 p.m.
