Police Issue Arrest Warrants For 3 Women In Overdose Death Of Greensburg Woman

GREENSBURG (KDKA) - Police have located the women suspected of delivering drugs that resulted in the overdose death of a Greensburg woman.

The City of Greensburg Police Department said they obtained arrest warrants for Janae Brown, Marcia Shearer and Britnee Clark.

The three were wanted in connection to the overdose death of Roxanne Gongaware back in May. She was killed by a powerful batch of fentanyl-laced heroin with the street name "Chucky."

A key in the case, thus far, has been the victim's cell phone.

"They started checking text messages and were able to link the three women to the heroin that entered the city, which the female overdosed on," Chief Chad Zucco of the Greensburg Police said.

Investigators said Brown of Scottdale and Shearer arranged to pick up the drug with the help of Clark, who lived in Avalon.

Shearer, Brown and Clark were taken into custody by police this afternoon.

Clark was located in Savannah, Georgia.
