GREENFIELD (KDKA) -- A person of interest was brought into Pittsburgh Police headquarters. He was shot during Saturday's rash of shootings in Greenfield.

Police say the first call of shots fired came in after 4 p.m. near the intersection of Kaercher Street and Greenfield Avenue, not far from Pittsburgh Pride Car Wash. Gunfire was exchanged between at least two vehicles and two other people were hurt.

A man was shot in the hand. Police said he drove to the car wash. A blue Toyota was found in the lot with a bullet hole in the windshield.

A woman was shot in the arm. She reportedly drove to a nearby gas station on Beechwood Boulevard. Police said the two were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Not far from the gas station, police tape surrounded Greenfield Avenue near Coleman Street. A red Honda Accord had two bullet holes in the passenger side door. People that live nearby heard the gunfire.

"I was coming out of my house and I heard seven gunshots, and apparently, somebody got shot down on Greenfield Avenue near CoGo's," Patrick Shutterly said.

"I was sitting on my porch and I heard pow, gunshots. I thought they were fireworks and my neighbor came out running up street so I walked up street behind him to see what it was," said another man who didn't want to be named.

Shortly after that shooting, there was an accident at the intersection of Lilac Street and Beechwood Boulevard. Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots, then saw the accident.

"It's getting crazy out here. This is like a war zone anymore," one man said.

"It does make me a little nervous. I hope they find the people that did this and arrest them for what they did," Shutterly said.

It's unclear if scene at the intersection of Lilac Street and Beechwood Boulevard is connected to the other shooting scenes Saturday.

The man that was shot in hand is in the hospital in stable condition. The woman shot in the arm was treated and released.

No arrests have been made. If you have any information, you're being asked to call Pittsburgh Police at (412) 323-7800.
