Giant Eagle Announces Recall Of Farmer's Market Lettuce

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Giant Eagle is letting customers know about a recall for Farmer's Market lettuce.

The varieties include Garden Supreme, Garden Salad, Leafy Romaine, American Salad, Parisian Blend, Romaine Garden Salad and Shredded Lettuce.

The packages have the "Best Used Before" date of May 12 through May 22.

Giant Eagle says the lettuce might be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.

Customers can return the lettuce to the store for a refund.
