Get Marty: Heart Attack Survivor Asks For Help Finding His "Guardian Angel"

CORAOPOLIS (KDKA) -- "Help me find a hero!" That was the simple request from Joey Talmonti.

The 43-year-old had a massive heart attack in Coraopolis back on Oct. 14.

"I died right here in the middle of the street," says Talmonti.

It was on 5th Avenue in Coraopolis. It was 4 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

"He nearly hit me with his car," Talmonti says.

Talmonti says the driver, a man he now describes as his "guardian angel," stopped his car in the middle of the street, jumped out and started CPR.

According to witnesses, the man performed CPR for more than five minutes. Once first responders arrived, they took over.

"He saved my life. I died in the street. He saved my life. I just want to thank him. Please find him for me, "says Talmonti.

If the hero doesn't want publicity, we will just introduce him to Talmonti. The "hero" is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old of age with an athletic build.

"Please help me. Please help me find this man. I owe him my life," says Talmonti.
