Furry Tails: These Dogs Are Quackers!

Meet Patty Cakes.

He's a rescue dog and little brother to Pikelet.

These pups hail from Australia and are on a mission to raise global awareness about the importance of pet adoption.

According to Pikelet's Facebook page, he lives by the motto, "In a perfect world, every dog would have a home, and ever home would have a dog."

Recently, Pikelet and Patty Cakes have been joined in their mission by two tiny, fluffy, yellow ducklings named Penguin and Popinjay. The dogs' humans recently started fostering the two birds.

And as you can imagine, the photos and videos of two rescue pups taking care of two ducklings have gone viral, earning the adoration of animal lovers around the world.

The dogs seem to genuinely like the attention of the little ducks, allowing them to climb on them and even letting them paddle around in their water bowl.

Life seems to be pretty good now for these once homeless animals. Pikelet saved from a kill shelter, Patty also rescued from a shelter and the two duckies recently surrendered to an animal shelter.

Just goes to show you, there's hope for all the furry creatures in shelters out there. Keep up the good work Patty Cakes and Pikelet.
