Fugitive Arrested At Pittsburgh International Airport
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Customs officials at Pittsburgh International Airport arrested a fugitive who has been on the run since the spring.
Frederick Douglas was wanted for an attempted armed robbery in Wilkinsburg in May.
According to police, Douglas and two other men tried to rob a woman's home, but she fired a gun at them and they ran off.
Douglas is also awaiting trial for an attempted burglary last year in Penn Hills.
He was arrested after arriving from the Virgin Islands.
