Former Penn State Coach Charged With Sexual Abuse
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- He was a legendary coach at Penn State.
Now, Jerry Sandusky is being charged with sexual abuse.
The charges reportedly follow a two-year grand jury investigation after a teenage boy said Sandusky had inappropriate contact with him over a four-year period, beginning when the boy was just 10 years old.
During the investigation, older allegations also surfaced that Penn State police investigated inappropriate touching in a shower.
Sandusky retired from Penn State in 1999 to concentrate on his children's charity.
Last fall, he retired from day-to-day involvement saying he wanted to spend more time with family and handle personal matters.
