Man Stabbed To Death Inside Wilkinsburg Home After Child's Birthday Party

WILKINSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) - Allegheny County Police are investigating a stabbing in Wilkinsburg that left one man dead.

According to county police, just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers were sent to the 1400 block of Penn Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

Once on the scene, police found a man who had been stabbed in the chest and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identifies him as 30-year-old Brian Devante Jameel Clay of Duquesne.

County police say detectives learned the stabbing happened inside the home following a kid's birthday party.

After the party ended, police say an altercation between Clay and 26-year-old Emmanual Jones turned physical, ending with the stabbing.

Jones was arrested and charged with criminal homicide.
