Family Safely Escapes House Fire In North Sewickley Township

NORTH SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A family was able to safely evacuate their home in North Sewickley Township when a fire broke out early on Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out at their home on East First Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

No one was hurt but KDKA has learned that two of the family's dogs did not make it.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
