EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta
It's the 34th annual EQT Three Rivers Regatta and NewsRadio 1020 KDKA and 93.7 The Fan are excited to be part of this FREE exciting summertime tradition! The Regatta heats up Pittsburgh on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th!
You don't need to go anywhere to experience the beach this summer! Sandsational will bring the beach to you with the largest sand sculpture our city has EVER seen! Be along the water for the North American Powerboat Championships and sit back as Circus Orange takes the main stage to entertain with pyrotechnics and acrobatics each evening.
NewsRadio 1020 KDKA will once again broadcast the "Flashes of Freedom" Fireworks Fantasia put together by Pyrotecnico on July 4th, so make sure to take your radio to the EQT Three Rivers Regatta!
Along with broadcasting from theNorth Shore throughout the weekend, NewsRadio 1020 KDKA will host the Giovanni's Pizza eating contest July 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the main stage at PointState Park at 2:45! Here are some important details!
- Sign up at 12:30pm on Saturday 7/2 and Sunday 7/3 next to the main stage. We'll take the first 20 people each day
- Saturday and Sunday are qualifying rounds! Finalists have to come back Monday for the Final Round.
- Contestants on Saturday and Sunday must be one of the fastest five contestants to eat a small Giovanni's pizza and a Budget Savers Twin Pop to move on to the Final Round on Monday!
- Monday's contestants will have to eat a Large Giovanni's pizza and a Budget Savers Twin Pop the fastest to win!
- Grand Prize on Monday is $500!
