Cooler temperatures begin the week with stray showers and thunderstorms possible in Pittsburgh

After severe storms yesterday, cooler-than-average weather will be taking over. A stray shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out later tonight around 10 p.m. north, but other than that it'll be dry with sunshine for most! 

Highs today will be in the low to mid 70s and breezy with gusts around 20mph. 

Our morning lows throughout the week will be in the mid-to- upper 50s, so you might need a jacket at the bus stop for kids heading back to school! 

This week will be partly to mostly sunny, and highs back in the upper 70s Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday will be the next chance for showers and thunderstorms, along with increasing humidity!
