Bomb Squad Investigates Suspicious Box In Negley Hill Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh police were called out to investigate a suspicious box in the Negley Hill area.

The package was reported between 5th Avenue and Fair Oaks.

Police shut down the area while they investigated.

An Allegheny County bomb squad technician in a protective suit approached the package and took an X-Ray of the box, and a photograph.

We're told the bomb squad has just detonated the box, but there are no details on what they found inside.
