Best Happy Hour Deals In Pittsburgh
The Library - The Always Happenin' Happy Hour
2304 E Carson St
Pittsburgh, Pa. 15203
(412) 381-0517
This Library has got nothing to do with books, except for the creative literary names of the food on their menu. With all appetizers half-priced and $3 draft beer specials, it's a pretty great bargain. Their appetizer menu has got a good bit of options, and LivingPittsburgh especially likes The Magic Pretzel and Slaughter House Four sliders with caramelized onions and cheese. An added bonus is that there are always some great craft beers to choose from on tap, but what makes this one even more special is the frequency of the Library's happy hours. Monday through Sunday (yes, all seven days), you can enjoy their happy hour specials from 5-7 p.m., and then again from 9-11 p.m.! (The half-off off food discount even extends to 1 a.m.) 14 happy hours every week? Now, how can you not smile about that?
Seviche - High-End Happiness
930 Penn Ave #R1
Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222
(412)-697-3120
Seviche is a great downtown restaurant that offers very unique ambiance done "Nuevo Latino" style. If it's not a place you can usually swing on your budget, try heading there during happy hour, which takes place every Monday - Friday from 5-7 p.m., and on Saturday nights from 10 p.m.-midnight. You'll get $5 small plates (the Pork Empanadas and Asian Tartare are LivingPittsburgh faves), $5 mojitos and cocktails, $4 wines, and $3 select bottles of beers. For the ladies, we highly recommend trying it out on a Tuesday for "Chikita Tuesdays". Your first drink (ANY drink!) is absolutely free, and then you can enjoy $4 sangrias. Now that's a fancy (yet affordable) time!
Kaya - Beverage Bliss
Ste 9, 2000 Smallman St
Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222
(412) 261-6565
www.bigburrito.com/kaya
Happy Hour at Kaya is happy indeed! To start, this Caribbean favorite in The Strip has a few reasonably priced items on the Tropas Menu. A huge serving of Tofu Cracklins and big basket of Sweet Potato Fries can easily be split, and comes to about $7 a person. It's not the food, however, that makes this happy hour so special, it's that the drink specials aren't limited to just a couple options. Kaya's happy hour offers half-off and single serving drink in the house from 5-7 p.m.! This one is great for the person who loves trying new concoctions without the hefty price tag, or someone who has a favorite that is rarely discounted at other happy hours.
Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle - The Freebie
2329 Penn Ave
Pittsburgh, PA. 15222
(412)-642-6622
Free food? Yes, it is out there, you just need to stick with Living Pittsburgh to find out where it happens. Well, at Mullaney's in The Strip, it happens every Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wings and sandwiches are the staple bites, but they occasionally include a surprise. Pair the free food with $3 Blue Moon drafts and $10 buckets (5) of domestic bottles, and you've got yourself one happy (and cheap) hour! Yet another bonus? Live music for your "wind-down for the weekend" soundtrack. Beer and wings not your thing? How does a FREE Sushi Bar in a fine dining establishment sound every Friday, as well? Yes, it's very true and it's paired with $5 wines, martinis, and select appetizers.
