Diesel has proven itself to be a mainstay in an industry that sees clubs open and close on a constant basis. Among the reasons for its success in a fickle market lies in Diesel's ability to offer a first-rate experience to general admission visitors and VIPs alike. Back in 2006 when the city hosted the Major League All-Star game, Diesel was the "it" club for visiting celebrities like, Derek Jeter, Alyssa Milano and former Pirate Barry Bonds. Today, the upscale atmosphere still prevails, so if you're looking for a VIP experience fit for future hall of fame ballplayers and Hollywood actresses all in one place, you'll find it at Diesel.

Whim, located in Station Square, is one of Pittsburgh's largest dance clubs. The crowd it attracts is primarily college students and singles in their early 20s, as Whim is the only venue on this list that is not exclusively for 21 and over. Every Thursday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., the club showcases its college night specials. Guests 18 and over are admitted for a $10 cover and patrons 21 and over get in for $5. Thursday drink specials include $2 domestics and bottles of Smirnoff Vodka for $100. Friday and Saturday nights play host to dance music by resident DJs. Standard bottle service prices run from $150 to $500 for liter bottles of everything from Captain Morgan's and Jim Beam to Dom Perignon. Sit back and lounge on the VIP area's comfy leather and suede couches in between dance sessions on the club's huge floor.

The wildly popular Buckhead Saloon in Station Square is the newest establishment in Pittsburgh to offer bottle service for parties, special events and VIPs. A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll, the place has something for everyone. A great spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations or even the occasional weekend bash for no good reason. Stop in on Tuesdays for 50 cent Miller Lite drafts from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. or during any Pittsburgh sporting event or holidays for some of the best specials in town. Bottle service perks include a private entrance for your party, a server devoted to keeping your drinks topped off, and clear views of the dance floor from the table's comfy couches, allowing VIPs to scout out the perfect dance partner before hitting the floor. Not into hard alcohol? Go for Buckhead's "beer" service instead of the standard bottle service. The staff will set you up with your own mini keg of Heineken or New Castle.
