Animal Cruelty Charges Filed After Dogs Left In Hot Pickup Truck

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)--A Steelton man is accused of leaving three dogs inside a hot vehicle in Neshannock.

Clark Kehley, Jr. has been charged with three counts of neglect of animals and three counts of cruelty to animals.

At the time police answered the call in the Medical Arts parking lot on Wilmington Road the air temperature was 87 degrees.

They say the 1998 Chevy pickup truck was in full sun with the windows open only a few inches.  The dogs had no water.
