49ers QB Legend Joe Montana Knows Super Bowls

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - With his former team in the Super Bowl for the first time in 18 years, Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana joins Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan's Ron Cook.

Montana is excited to see the San Francisco 49ers back in the Super Bowl, and thinks his old team will be difficult for the Baltimore Ravens to beat on Sunday.

He takes a closer look at San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and Baltimore QB Joe Flacco, and explains what makes each of them successful.

Montana breaks down each of his Super Bowl wins, with his game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl XXIII standing out.

"As a quarterback, there's nothing better than winning a game by throwing a touchdown pass," Montana admits. "Multiply it by ten or one hundred-fold when you're in the Super Bowl!"

Former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo, Jr. is up for election into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Montana makes the case for DeBartolo's induction.

"Everybody loved playing for Eddie," Montana says. "It was like playing for another player. You'd come into the locker room sometimes, and he'd be just as upset and fired up as the coach was when we didn't play well."
