1 Man In Critical Condition After Stabbing In Shadyside

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after one man was stabbed in the neck on Baum Boulevard.

The victim was transported from the scene on Thursday. He is in critical condition.

There was a heavy police presence on the boulevard near Morewood Avenue in Shadyside.

Baum Boulevard was closed in the eastbound direction between Morewood Avenue and Cypress Street while officials investigated.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 5 p.m.

No word on any suspects.

"Some people said they saw people, but they didn't get a good description," said Pittsburgh Police PIO Maurice Matthews.
