On January 15, 1978, at a Florida State University sorority house, Ted Bundy attacked four women, killing two of them.

Lisa Levy,20, left, and Margaret Bowman, 21, were murdered by Ted Bundy at the Chi Omega sorority house.
It was discovered that there was another attack by Ted Bundy at this house, just a few blocks from the sorority house.
Ted Bundy was well-known to investigators out west, where he was a suspect in the disappearances of dozens of women.
Ted Bundy had been convicted of an attempted kidnapping in Utah in 1976, and was charged with a murder in Colorado. In late 1977, he escaped from jail.
On February 15, 1978, Ted Bundy was stopped while driving this stolen car in Pensacola, Florida. He would not give his name and was eventually taken to jail.
It was discovered that Ted Bundy was staying in this boarding house in Tallahassee when he attacked the women at FSU.
Investigators obtained a search warrant to compare Ted Bundy's teeth to this bite mark from one of the victims.
On July 27, 1978 Ted Bundy was charged with the murders of sorority sisters Margaret Bowman and Lisa Levy and the attempted murders of Cheryl Thomas, Kathy Kleiner and Karen Chandler.

Ted Bundy was taken to a dentist to obtain teeth impressions. He told former Leon County Sheriff Ken Katsaris, "Do what you have to do, Ken. You know I'm not a violent person."
Ted Bundy's dental imprints were used in court to show they matched the bite mark evidence.
The FSU trial began on July 7, 1979. Kathy Kleiner was one of the survivors of the FSU attack. She testified in court against Ted Bundy to help bring him to justice.
Survivor Karen Chandler, Kathy Kleiner's roommate at the sorority, testified at Ted Bundy's trial.
Cheryl Thomas, the third survivor from FSU, was the woman attacked a few blocks away. She too testified about her attack at Bundy's trial.
Justice is Served
Ted Bundy was found guilty of all charges on July 24, 1979 and sentenced to death.
He died in the electric chair at the Florida State Prison on January 24, 1989.
