On March 22, 2013, Omega Auctions of Stockport, England, will hold a sale of Beatles memorabilia, to mark the 50th anniversary of the release of the Fab Four's first album, "Please, Please Me," on March 22, 1963.
Among the artifacts to go on the block is a collection of rare color photographs, taken of the group during their 1964 U.S. tour.

Sixty-five color slides of the Beatles (taken both on- and off-stage during the Summer of 1964) come from the collection of Dr. Robert ''Bob'' Beck, a noted research physicist/inventor with an interest in photography, who died in 2002.
