In the mid-'80s, the band was starting to splinter. Duran Duran never officially broke up, but John and Andy Taylor went off to form the hard rock/funk group Power Station (with Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson). Rhodes, Le Bon and Roger Taylor formed Acadia.
"We split in two," Nick Rhodes told CBS News' Anthony Mason. "Three went one way, two the other. Actually, Roger was in the middle, in fairness."
