Donald Trump kicked off the sixth season casting search for his reality show "The Apprentice" by personally interviewing applicants at Universal Studios in Hollywood. It was the first stop of a 17-city tour to find the next "Apprentice."

Donald Trump arrived for the casting call for "The Apprentice" aboard the Universal Studios tour tram. Applicants began lining up at 6 a.m. for a chance to speak with "The Donald" and earn a shot on the show.

The show features contestants competing in a variety of tasks in hopes of earning a job in one of Donald Trump's business ventures. Contestants are eliminated from the show each week with Trump's catch-phrase, "You're fired."

For the first time, "The Apprentice" is leaving Manhattan and moving to Southern California. Season six shoots this summer and airs in the fall of 2006. (Season five is airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.) Trump also is an executive producer of the series.

The official qualifications for "Apprentice" contestants include the ability to take risks, bounce back after failing, succeed in a cutthroat environment, go against the tide, remain focused, think creatively and be a leader. Donald Trump also plans to interview applicants at New York's Trump Tower on March 24, 2006.

In addition to Donald Trump, other executive producers of "The Apprentice" are Mark Burnett and Jay Bienstock. Conrad Riggs and Page Feldman are co-executive producers.
